SearchHound New Member United States 28 Posts	Posted 05/30/2021 2:52 pm Hello, I recently started playing with filtering my lighting sources trying to capture true colors. It's been difficult, to say the least. Using natural, scope, and selfie ring lighting filtered with tissue, plain white printer paper, and paper towels. The Three Cent Nickel has green toning. Pic with natural lighting filtered with tissue. The Silver Proof Quarter. Pic with selfie ring lighting filtered printer paper. The Lincoln Cent has blue/purple/red/orange toning. Pic with scope lighting filtered with printer and tissue paper. Does the LC & Quarter show too much reflective lighting? Report this Post to the Staff

westcoin Pillar of the Community United States 9724 Posts	Posted 07/03/2021 09:02 am The issue I have more than the filtered light is the images all appear to have been put through a posterising filter (removing colors) before saving, they don't look natural.
