I'm kind of confused. I was going through pennies to look out for in pocket change in one video it tells you to look for the initials "fg" missing and you have a rare valuable penny. Sounds like die was punched through greese a common occurance and not valuable to me.

You are correct....How do I feel abut uTube videos? Answer......... most utubers are only out for followers and not true info about values of coins.

to CCF good luck on future finds, have fun and keep asking when needed....

Could be due to die polishing as well. No added value in any event.

Well it was there and polished it off. Not a premium coin. At one time it was thought that, but PCGS no longer slabs them. So to me they are just a die event.

more likely die polishing than grease, but still nothing special.

If the eye can't see it, I'll prefer not to speak it. Thanks, Doug.

Best advice to follow: Stay here on CCF pages rather than uTube. You'll thank us in the end.
