I'll say F details (scratches).

The scratches appear old and don't detract too much from a piece with this level of wear. I agree with Coinfrog's grade of F details.

Any CC is a good CC in my opinion. Scratches on this coin are not distracting at all. Very nice for that price.
But do agree with Mr. Frog, it would grade F Details.

I like the circulation cameo enough to overlook the scratches.

VG10, possible F-12 despite the minor scratches. A very nice looking pickup for the price. From one who collects this series, seven years in and only two-thirds complete, the '73/74 cc's astronomical values keep most from completion. Thanks for sharing!

I like to say that coin has some history on it...a workhorse of the everyday economy nearly 150 years ago. Nothing at all wrong with this example as long as you didn't pay too much.

I agree with F Details, and with the comments that the scratches are old and this has good eye appeal. At $27, why not? Decent price for a decent coin.

IMO it's a straight Fine.
I think the scratches are normal wear and tear.
