I have found a 1858 Flying Eagle cent!

I was wondering if you can help me out by figuring out if these are from PMD or its a Cud! I tried to take a picture to show that even though the rim is indented a little bit, that it doesn't answer for how big the possible Cud is!

So what do you think?

I appreciate the feedback!

Check to see of on the opposite side the design is weak there? That is how you can tell for sure:

If the design is not weak on the opposite side, then the coin was damaged.

Afraid so. Always nice to know what to look for and where to find/no see it on a coin. This coin was probably the looser of a coin toss. When coins are dropped, the coins can suffer the most.

Yes I think damage too--a rim bruise.
