No way can I see that being Mint made. Just looked at it on ebay. The first pic on the listing I believe tells it all. It is oblong and misshaped. Looks like a torch job to me. Hang on.....I HAVE to try to recreate that!!!!!

The obv looks normal, but the rev has extra material melted onto it--looks like solder to me.

Looks like a torch job to me, they found an occluded gas bubble or air pocked in the metal and it puffed up upon heating, is my guess.
