Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 06/24/2021 06:21 am This coin was placed between two layers of leather (old belt maybe?) and hammered. That caused the copper plating to separate an increased the diameter of the coin. Sometimes the copper plating is heavy enough to stretch with the expansion of the zinc. These are interesting, but don't have a value above face. If they continue to circulate, they will most likely be returned to the mint to be cancelled and recycled.
