1982-D LMC With Part Of A Building Where It Shouldn't Be

If it presses down it maybe gas under the plating. If it doesn't press down, it looks like die damage. It looks nothing like the building. If it were part of the building, where are the devices for AMERICA? You can't have an part of a design without all of the other parts of the design. They are all on the master die when they start off. Damage can happen to the dies, but you can't just have an isolated device. If would be like using a rubber stamp and try to get on letter in the center. From an edge you could do. But not a center letter. (Without using tape to cover the other letters)

Guys it's not a bubble it's got straight edges it's like the corner of the building sticking up. It doesn't press down it's solid as a building

Agree with others here. Looks like a die crack with zinc rot growing under the copper plating. Copper might just be a little thicker on this part of the coin. There looks to be an another bubble of similar size, just a little bit to the NE of it going clockwise.

so where did these lines come from that look like some sort of siding like from the side of a building? None of the raised areas on the front or back depress with a toothpick
