Can probably be narrowed to 192X, but in this condition opinions will vary and the value is nominal whatever the date.

@dbroo, it is possible that the first part of LIBERTY and the last part of the date were weakly struck, but it looks to me like it maybe just be extensive circulation wear.

Heavy circulation wear does eliminate any premium above face value even if it was all due to weak strike or struck thru.

I don't see the V.D.B on the shoulder. I feel this is a teens cent. Note the wide rim? A closer View of the should would confirm my theory.

But if the V.D.B. area is totally missing, it would predate a 1922 as the initials were added in 1918.

These could have worn off the die, but incuse devices don't wear off coins.
