Hello and welcome.

And you'll be told the same answer as was given last decade: heat/fire damage, causing a trapped bubble of gas to expand underneath the softened metal.

It's not all that uncommon, for fire-damaged clad coins to do this.

Sure is heat damage. I made one of these out of a 2021 Tuskegee to compare then lost it. Whatever no photos.
