I came across this 2017 IA Effigy quarter and was wondering if this is an error or just damaged? It almost looks like the circle from the back of the coin was pressed on the front.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

We see these on the forum quite often. It would be one the end coins
on a roll after it was wrapped.

It ruins the collectable life it could of had. So it is just a face value coin now.
