Can anyone shed some light on what"s going on with the back of this coin? There are lines that appear to be raised but running behind the tree. I'm still new so this is the first time I've encountered this.

lower area does look like feeder lines upper area could be part of overlay

The color was so dark and busy, I had to figure out a way to make the FFD show better. Cropped the images, then reduced the color on one and then layer each image with the duplicate, taking out the color so make the gray show through, then adjusted the color to a more pleasant one to work with.
