Well I may have finally found a good error coin, well I hope so! My grandmother gave me some change, and I found a heck of a coin. It has the reverse of a clad Roosevelt dime and the reverse of a U.,S. cent. It is the size of a dime planchet. I will post picks, Does anyone have any idea what this might be> If it is rare what should I do, like where should I submit it for authenticity verification? And is it worth anything? I will try to list the picks for y'all!

Sorry about the crappy pics, I have a Canon Pixma MP780 printer/scanner, no camera currently.

Well the first thing I'd do is get a good shot of the edge or tell us if there is a seam on the rim/edge. This sort of thing does not happen at the mint, two reverses?

No there isn't, and it is as thick as a dime. But you can distinguish the copper from the penny and the dime. the nickle part is reeded, the thickness is exactly the same as a regular dime!

Yes, unfortunately a Magician's coin. Out of a roll of halves a few months back I got a 1982D Kennedy obverse with a 1967 British old style penny obverse as the reverse of the coin. Really good job done on it, too!

You can see where the cent was ground down to a smaller size to fit the dime. I have a Mercury Dime/Wheat Cent one.

Or maybe since there is only one side of each you split the difference making it a 5.5 cent coin
