Hello guy's I have this 1974 Lincoln Cent with a possible strike through. Can you guys help me confirm or correct me please.

the shape of the contact damage make me think it was impact from a reeded coin. You can check this by looking at the edge of a few reeded coins (check a dime and quarter first) to see if the spacing of the depressions on your cent matches the spacing of the reeds.

In addition, you can see where the metal has moved. It appears to be raised in areas. This would not be if it were struck through.

Guessing this penny had gas? Got this one a few days ago.

I thought the date was doubled as well.. but it also might be deteriorating?

Please post each new coin on it's own thread. It gets confusing when more than one coin is posted.
You don't know which coin someone is referring to when they supply an answer.
