I assume the 1878 farthing is the bottom one - the top photo seems to be the 1888 farthing that you showed in a different thread.

From the obverse this looks like a very nice VF coin. Mintage is 4,008,540 and catalogue value is £4 in VF.

- more wear on the reverse than I would have expected.

Im pretty sure the values start skyrocketing once the grades on these British copper coins hit the XF-40 range of higher, especially for the better years.
