I'm not an expert grader, but I'd refrain from sending to a TPG due to copper spotting and fingerprints.

Quote: I'd refrain from sending to a TPG due to copper spotting and fingerprints. what is what I was thinking as well. but I'm not too sure the vertical lines are fingerprints yet. I don't see any swirls or loops. but it could be. I need to place it under my scope to investigate further. But if you had to give it a grade - what would it be? I wouldn't send it in if it wouldn't get a grade higher than 66

I might come in a touch lower than @frog — maybe 62/63? I see some detracting rim dings, based on the photos.

Problems I see, Obverse carbon spots and what looks like a fingerprint. Reverse, what's with the cross-hatching under the Memorials base? Put me in the 63/64 crowd

After comparing this coin with the one the seller had in his listing I noticed that they don't match. I did not get what I thought I was going to get. His listing also states "You are bidding on the Item(s) pictured here." Have a look at the ebay listing where I bought this coin: ebay item number: 363449688970

Well at least it is a proof Small date. Of all the 1970-S coins minted (2,632,810) it is estimated that only 10% of that figure were small dates. Meaning that about 263,281 coins of this year/mint and being a proof were minted. So a relatively small amount and I have one. So I'm happy...
