Need some help identifying the errors on the obverse of this coin. There is doubling along the bust from Lincoln's tie down to the date. At first I thought this coin had Machine Doubling, however once I observed the coin from the profile there is a spread and it is obvious. Unfortunately the photos don't give the spread it's true appearance. Is there a chance this is a DDO? Or is the indeed a case of Machine Doubling.

I'm in for Machine Doubling. The '68 S Lincolns are known for having some rather strong examples of MD in the date--not all '68 S coins of course, just somewhat higher incidence across the population.

Also there is no such thing as as 1964-S cent. (The U.S. Mint has never made pennies, just cents) The coin is a 1968-S cent.

Machine doubling, but even if it were a DDO, doubled dies are varieties, not errors.
