I found a 1997 quarter and it is missing the 1.... any idea of the value?

@mgar, it looks like this coin might have been struck with a little grease in the die and then number 1 never fully struck up. Can you please add a pic of the rev too? Thx.

I agree with all of the above, you have a minor Greaser. If more details were absent, demand/price would be more, but as is, it's only worth face value, sorry.
