This coin looks like it was in an egg carton during a housefire. Oddball, but interesting nontheless. I wouldn't ever pay extra for toning unless it was insanely spectacular.

Toning looks artificial to me. Might possibly be corrosion from really poor storage conditions in which case it could qualify as environmental damage (ED) rather than AT.
Not really your question but IMO this common-date coin has poor eye appeal and is worth little more than bullion value.

I like the toning. Personally I like toning in general but I won't pay extra for it.
I wouldn't be surprised either way about AT or not but it is suspicious the dealer had a whole roll of similar toned dollars.

The OP's coin does not appeal to me at all. Then again, my toned Peace dollar may not appeal to others but I like it.  Anyone can tell me how ugly my coin is, and it won't hurt my feelings. Edited by jimbucks
