So, at work, I'm always looking at the change. When I found this beauty, I literally did a happy dance in the middle of the office making one of my employees think I was absolutely nuts!

Nice find! While I've found many wartime nickels in change over the years, they're virtually always well-worn and heavily toned. This one has been tucked away for a long, long time before somehow being released back into circulation...

Very nice find. Always fun to find silver. Looks like it might grade high AU,AU58? Something at 10k-12k on the obverse?PMD?

I've found War Nickels in change but never in AU or BU condition. I would look at all the change at your job for more good coins and possibly earlier dated Jefferson nickels.

@TNG I'm ALWAYS digging in the drawers. If I walk up to a cashier and the drawer is open, I dig. I've found some really nice pennies. Over the last 4 years, I've gotten 4 Mercury dimes, a Buffalo nickel, several proof coins, countless wheat backs, and several silver quarters. After this find, I will be looking more often! LOL

That's great, I've been looking for the one I lost last week. Thanks for finding it.
