@Greasy Fingers -Hmmm..is your CCF e-mail up to date? I can send to you for $18 USD. Can pay via coins (preferred method). Send me an e-mail via CCF as I'm sure we're not allowed to discuss trades on this thread (sorry mods!)

@david hmmm didn't know that, figured they where already minted last year, just not released to the general public. Yeah also watch out for the bank baggies.
If David isn't able to do trade or payment is too problematic I can be backup. I do have PayPal account and willing to accept USD at the moment.

I got mine on Wednesday. It seems like they have been available (sort of) for a while now though? Someone found the Olympic coin with T20 paint last February but they were only officially released this week right?

Which do you think are better? 2016 coins or 2020 Thought I had a shot of them, but obviously not. My opinion is I like the new ones more, they look lighter and cuter, although the 2016's have a lot of detail.

Tough call. I think I prefer the designs on the 2016. Although the colours are nicer on the 2020.

I think the 2016 set was a nicer set.

Quote: Got a bag of $2000 of $2 coins from bank yesterday and had mostly coloured coins. That's amazing jens coins ... if my maths is correct then that works out to be a strike rate of 78.7%! When you say that you got a $2000 bag of $2 coins, are the coins just loose in the one big bag or do they come in rolls or smaller bags that are bundled into the one bag?

Heard of people getting a $2000 bag of all the same coloured coin (they usually end up on ebay) but not such an assortment. You'll be known as "Jen Feathersword" from now on.

They were all loose in a Royal Australia Mint bag but it was yellow plastic instead of the usual clear plastice. The bank usually only gets coins in bags not rolls and don't order loose large bags so it was very unusual. It helps to have friendly tellers. The same bank had bags of green Olympic coins a few weeks ago and all the coins were the same in clear plastic bags of 25 coins in the large bag.
