Looks like clash marks in a pattern not often seen before.

It does not seem to line up to any obverse design

Woopers ... I still made one from the actual coin.

Rotation is off but it is still obvious to me the lines are in the field.
Maybe a die gouge or very clean die crack?

But one side on the overlay will show up as mirrored. That is what is missing on your coin. It matches up on my images. It is just not in the area we commonly see a clash on.

Looks like the edges of Jeffersons' right side jacket. 2x2 worthy.

I think if this were a die clash that is this pronounced on the reverse it would have to show some evidence of the clash on the obverse and I see no trace of that on the image in post #1. It appears raised.

I'd like to see a picture of those or at least a best example.
I suspect something has damaged the reverse die.

I don't see anything that lines up for a clash, so I"m thinikng that Alfred Hitchcock profile is a die gouge.

What if they changed out the obverse die only?

I'm not seeing anything in the clash overlay that lines up. I'm thinking some sort of die damage as well.
