@my2, yes please tell us what you are seeing with the coin in hand. With your last pic, I am seeing some glare doubling on the olive leaves.

The bottom image looks like a DDR on the center leaf, but the image above it appears to be a different coin and the image is too blurry for me to tell if that one is or isn't a DDR. Can you please explain what is what in these images?

I apologize, when I use the first and large photo I realized it was not clear enough so I put the second one which is the same coin just a more clear image. The center leaf is what I am referring to being a doubled die like Samcoin said

Looks like Machine Doubling. The overall size of the leaves are normal in size. When they are doubled, the affected area makes it larger on the design:

I'm not seeing what you mean. I think it looks very similar to the 001 example of your pictures. Please help me understand.

Coop, I would like to see an overly picture or something to help me see what you are because I need to learn these sorts of things. All I can see so far is other coin's that to me still look similar to my coin. Both 001 and 002 have similarities so please educate me. I am here to learn.

I think this is just glare from lighting. Same 'doubling' shows on the cluster of olive leaves just above.

It is amazing how real doubling can seem when you have multiple light sources. I will try to move a coin around so that I can clearly see the top surface of the device in question. If I can see the top surface without doubling, then it is glare (reflection) doubling. My most common mistake even with a good lighting setup.

I understand how lighting can be deceptive, I use natural lighting other without light sources for that reason. It can be quite difficult sometimes but it is worth it in the long run. One of the reasons I posted the first close-up picture even though it was a little blurry you can still see without the glare on there this slightly raised spot.

Pointless trying to argue whether this is a DDR, lighting, MD, etc. until OP posts better photos, in my opinion. Please update with clear photos so we can provide more information, OP.

I took this photo with as little light as possible to show that it is not the light causing the details. With low light it's harder to take a really clear picture but it's still clear enough, I think. If not let me know.
