@GrapeCollects: Looks good to me. No corrosion that I can see and it didn't get a "details" grade.

Great coins. Can you give us larger images on both sides of the Half Cent?

Nice pickups! I'm jealous of your Half Cent - I've got a VG10/F12 on my US type want list for the 1794 Half Cent, and one like this would nicely fit the bill! So hard to find without problems or distractions in those grades, though...

Yes, I was particularly pleased with that Half Cent as well since I really thought I'd have to go a much higher grade (and cost) to get one with sufficient eye appeal. And speaking of planchets, I also picked up this "details" coin for relatively cheap due to corrosion on the planchet: Yeah, the corrosion looks awful in the picture, but it's barely noticeable in hand and I'm thinking the actual details are far nicer than the one currently in my collection:

Ahhh the old 1 over 000 Large Cent. A classic! The 1794 Half Cent is only a dream coin for me I suppose (as well as the head left 1793). Great choice of eye appeal on a tough coin.

Congratulations on two very nice new acquisitions. I agree with the Half Cent comments: very difficult to find attractive pieces with smooth, original planchet surfaces and no corrosion. Glad that CCF members are attending in-person coin shows! Seems like progress!

Congrats on your great pickups, and the 1798 is not too shabby either!

The 1798 S-161 is one I wouldn't mind having myself.
