1975 D Dime.off Center & Planchet Error?

This dime here looks & feels different.

It is weighing at 2.1 & has a reddish hint to it (kind of hard to see in the photos).

It is thinner than all the other dimes I have in the 70's.

Someone please help me on what is going on here

Looks like someone gave it a nice long acid bath of some sort. It is called PMD, post mint damage.

Just corrosion damage which would account for the lighter weight.

May have been a metal detector find,PMD environmental damage.Also a few too many photos.

I agree with the mild acidic exposure on this coin. Just a spender. A damage coin is just a face value coin.

I agree with john1 on this one, most likely a metal detector find, coin had been buried in ground for quite some times and corrosion started eating through the surface.
