Very Odd Looking Penny Not Normal Color And Has Rim Errors

I was going through my change and found this penny it's got two rims it's almost sparkly the back side is tarnished in the background and some of the letters clash with the rim it also weighs about a quarter of a gram less than a zinc and it's a 1984 d. If you look on the left side of the double rim of the front it's actually got a silver color to it the whole Penny itself looks like a bronze or copper color

I see a well circulated 1984-D penny with environmental damage or Post mint damage.

Yes, a common, worn '84 D cent--perhaps with a hint of Die Deterioration on the obverse and exposure to a caustic agent on the reverse. Some of the copper plating has eroded to show signs of the zinc core.

A lot of zinc is exposed on the rim. So the circulation issue is more the the problem. Best to put this one back to work, as the zinc rot will be getting worse as more oxygen reaches the zinc layer.
