So this will be interesting to explain! Went to the bank to trade a roll of nickels and 4 rolls of pennies I had searched for 4 rolls pennies and one nickels from the bank. I got home, opened the nickels first and found they were all new nickels. Oh well I thought, but searched them anyway to see if I could find anything. Looked on line and found some chatter about bee hives on the left side of Monticello. Did not find any bee hives but on six nickels I found a banana hanging on a rope about half way up the left side of the building (my feeble attemp of a descripter) and a die chip on the balustrades to the left side of the roof. Yahoo on six nickels so it's some artifact of the dies. The pics show the banana and the die chip from one of the nickels I picked as a example, also one nickel without the error. Let me know your thoughts. Sorry for the length of the pics and the post. The red in the pics is a artifact caused by a extra lamp to highlight the find, it drives the LED of the imager on the camera a little crazy. Regards!

But just a minor die crack and chip. No premium for these. They are die events. Part of the dies normal aging process. The dies will not all age exactly alike. Just like a car doesn't follow the same break downs, because they are all the same make/model (unless there is an issue on all the cars) Just like sand is not the same value as gold. Because one is more common than the other.
