There were also sans serif mm that year, many of both. Here is a link that shows the mint mark styles for each year. http://www.varietyvista.com/01a%20L...20Styles.htm There are several RPM's for this year too but cannot tell from the glare on your pics. These are not all of these images. If I posted all of them the total would 576 images. The visuals help greatly though. I will have much to learn from you and others here. My strengths are with Lincolns and Morgans. When you learn to pick up on why is something a doubled die. Or why is something a RPM. When you look into the subject you learn causes/affect, why it is, or is not a variety. Then you start to understand it better. It is like going to the beach and watching the waves come in. If that is all you see, then you are not board with it yet. Soon. You are looking further out to see to see what is causing the waves. Or when they hit the reef, the water splashes. What is the cause. Why does the water only some in so far and it is different at different times. What is in the water. Is it dangerous? So many things you miss, if all your looking at is the waves?
