Looking-For-Confirmation-On-This-1997-DDO
Found this 1997 DDO coin roll hunting and I'm looking to sell it but I lack experience and need confirmation that it's a true DDO. Is it a true double die? Should I worry about grading?

@nik, first welcome to CCF. Second, on the date and mintmark looks more like DDD or perhaps split plate doubling to me, but let's see what others think.

I'm with Spence. That coin was not struck by a die that had doubling.
Keep searching long enough and you'll come across a coin struck by a doubled die.

Given the slightly "ripply" overall surface texture, I suspect this is plating disturbance doubling, a close relative of split plating doubling.
