Hello everyone!
I think I came across something interesting. Does anyone have information about this DDO in the eye of the Indian, as I do not find information on the NGC-variety-plus website about such a defect? Thanks!

I know little about IHC varieties but it looks like the eyelid suffered a hit which makes it look divided. I'd vote against a DDO based on these images.

I think I can clearly see a second eye behind the eye under a magnifying glass, and I'm sure the coin is not damaged - the surface is very clean and smooth. There is also a doubling just opposite the eye, on the uniTED STATes...

Image of the whole coin would help. I see it but the angle seems too narrow to be another set of eyelids.

Ok, guys, there seem to be some very minor damage right around the eye that made me think wrong. I probably can't delete this topic if any of the moderators can? Thanks

No big deal. Honest question, replies make sense. No reason to delete the thread.

Thanks for understanding! I think I'm getting older little by little, but the hope that I will find something rare and unique is always alive :) This is the coin that made me dream for a few hours ...

We all learn things by asking questions. I remember early on in my collecting days that I thought I had a unique Doubled Die on an 1860 IHC. Even sent pictures to Rick Snow. It was damage, and I wish I had asked here first!
