I will be buying rolls of silver circulated rolls on monday if we can agree on a price, about 20 rolls, using fridays ending silver price what would be a fair price to offer that leaves me with a profit if I pick out what I want and sell the rest.

Raw silver melt value is $1.67 per dime, or $1,670 per 1,000 dimes. There are dealers on this forum who can comment on what their current buy/sell prices are for "junk" silver.

Please, I would like to hear what they say so I know what to do.

It is unlikely that you will profit. I presume that the rolls have been picked through many times so the chances of finding something that you don't want to keep and that would be worth more than melt AND easy to sell for a higher price is low. You might profit if you hold onto the silver and the price of silver goes up enough to exceed what you paid plus what a buyer wants for margin from spot.

Then I will still try, am I close in saying dealers are paying $1.50 per coin, $75.00 per roll, there most likely not be any slick ones.

Current ebay sold auctions are running $100-$110 per roll of circulated Roosevelt silver dimes. Subtract fees/shipping, $75-$80 is about right.

Locals are selling at 20x face. Likely buying at 14x or so. So you're not getting ripped off.

I don't see that price as a ripoff but it does not seem to be a deal either.

I buy Roosevelt dime rolls typically ebay and $102/105 seems about current as of 8-30-2021 shipping included
