So I have 2 ASE coins, each 2021 variety. I am thinking about taking them to a jeweler who buys gold and silver. 1. How much can I expect to get? Spot? 2. When selling such a small quantity, do I need to show ID or fill out any paperwork?

I have seen my coin store by ASEs off of people, so I can answer your questions. They might give you spot for them, but from what I have seen, they usually pay less. As far as paperwork and the such, they usually just write you a check (or give you cash) over the counter. Unless you are in a rush to sell them, I would recommend trying to trade/sell them with other collectors, here or elsewhere. That way, you will at least get spot. Hope this helps! Have a good day!

I think you could list them here and do better than a jeweler would pay.

I suggest to NOT sell any coins to any jeweler. My experience is that they pay waaay below spot. Sell them here or on ebay.

The jeweler contacted me, basically said at current value he'd give me $23 each, which is way less than I paid off the Bay.

They're currently about $36 and $38 for T2 and T1, respectively, on APMEX, so I'm sure you could get more here or on ebay. I would try CCF first.

Your foray into precious metals is about to come full circle. You can't fully appreciate the PM market until you try to sell some. Selling is like shopping except in reverse. Just ask around, 1) Jewelers/Local coin stores (LCS)/Cash for gold places, 2) check ebay (whatever you get subtract about 20% for fees) or 3) Here. You'll always be comparing what you will net out versus the spot price of silver. Selling discounts are annoying but just about anything of consequence has them. Sell real estate, it's 6%. Sell a piece of art and it's 30%+. And therein lies one of the beauties of PMs. You can be just about anywhere in the world and buyers and sellers have a pretty good idea what they are willing to accept or pay. Whereas with a given piece of RE or art there is an opaque pricing mechanism that is not easily understood.
