Were W Quarters Just Not Sent To My Area (Boston)?

SamCoin Pillar of the Community United States 3237 Posts	Posted 08/29/2021 10:30 am I have been hunting since around the time that the W quarter program started in 2019, and I have found exactly 2 W quarters in all my boxes hunted. I am not going through a box a week like some people since I search every coin for errors and varieties, but I would say even conservatively I have gone through a couple dozen boxes in that time. Even weirder, the only two Ws I have found have been in customer wrapped rolls, despite the fact that my machine wrapped rolls contained a very high concentration of 2020s for several boxes and I even got a complete box of SRB and tallgrass prairies that contained 0 Ws between the two of them. So my question is what gives? Were some regions simply not sent Ws? Has anyone in this area or a different region had a similar experience? I have $400 in quarter rolls from my change over the past couple years. I guess I could look through those but I might be too lazy. The fact that you've received two in CWR tells me they're circulating in your area, but that your bank is probably not one of the ones getting the coins.
