Not an error, just the start of zinc rot.

In the future, please post photos of both sides of the complete coin.

these zinc coins had me fooled for a while with errors. Spend it while it still looks like a penny lol

More of an issue of using a straight pin to pierce the plating and the oxygen starts the rot process. Just damage to the coin.
