You could look at ebay sold listings to get an idea of what others have paid. Any die chips on the reverse? While kinda cool, they really bring little premium--unless they are more dramatic (larger) and occur on a pristine, high grade coin, in which case they may have a little more value. A manic collector who loves Wheat cent die chips might pay 75 cents to a dollar 50 for yours. Report this Post to the Staff

So when that event happened, then all the other coins from that point on will all look like that. So as many as 54% of the cents from that die could be affected. So they are just a common die event.
