Good afternoon to all. This 1941 P Wheat cent appears to have acid damage or Die Deterioration? I'm not sure what would cause this other than what I have mentioned. I have another one similar and found them both in a large bag of wheats I purchased (50 lbs). The toning is amazing and the pictures do it no justice. I think I will place in a flip either way this goes because It is awesome to look at. Thank you guys for looking and any information given. God bless.

P.S. if there is a way to message another member other than replying on a thread please list the steps of how to do that. I have looked and read but do not see any option. Thanks

Appears to have been treated with acid. PMD.

I figured as much. Just wasn't too sure if Die Deterioration would do this. It looked extreme. Thank you.
