If it is incuse, it is probably a small Struck Through. Hard to tell with the reflection and shadows on thr photo.

With the pics provided, it is hard to tell the grade, but I am thinking maybe MS-65?

The year I graduated High School. Nice to see that it still looks the same as then. (I wish I could say that....)

Pics make it hard to see. Too much reflection from the lighting. My first thoughts were a small delamination error, but better pics might change than.

It definitely looks like part of the coin to me, worth anything you think?

Figuring out what it is would be the first thing. Can you get us an angled pic that would show whether it is incuse(recessed) or in relief (raised)?

I don't know, with the new pics, a little confused after the others. These pics look damage to me but let's let others weigh in.

Looks like a piece of paper of glue stuck on it.

Quote: Looks like a piece of paper of glue stuck on it. You could be right. In one of my earlier posts, I did not rule out something being on the coin. That could explain some of the odd shadows too. Snickers82, have you tried to remove what may be there? Maybe some acetone wash.

It absolutely is not a piece of paper stuck on it, it's part of the coin. Am I able to send video on here?

It could be glue though and seem part of the coin. I personally would try an acetone wash, just to see what happens, there is something quite odd about this anomaly.
