Hello, I have a 2004 P NICKEL, I believe it has a die crack ? I was wondering if you could give me information.

Welcome to CCF. That appears to be a nice die crack and lines up perfectly with the sail line. Nice find!

Yes it does, I seen that. I also thought it looked like lighting hitting the sail. Lol

@fast, since this die crack doesn't really add to the value of the coin, it isn't worth sending in for grading and encapsulation. Rather you could put it in a 2x2 and save it that way if you'd like.

Nice die crack example. Drop it in a 2x2. The overall, circulated condition of the coin would steer me away from submitting it for TPG grading--not worth it in my opinion.

Very minimal value for this: To have a MS-64 normal coin, the grading is $50 to get a return of $8. Not worth the money. The grading companies are the ones making money on low grade coins. They ride off on the boat, you ride off on a 2X4.
