Agree, that couldn't have happened during the striking of the
coin so it is damage.

How could you do that to make the same location on both sides with too BB's. Tape the two BB's to the coin then press it in a vise. That way they don't move until they are squeezed.

Right, with a BB gun. It would have to have a laser on it to get accurate on with one of these.

I would guess a small hole was drilled and a bearing/BB was inserted. Looks like a lot of work or boredom.

no mint error, just post mint damage ( PMD). However it was created, damage is damage.
