Does this look like a lamination error or external damage?

Everyone is correct with that answer. So to a new one, explain why is this not damage? What clue do you see that they may not of thought of? We are all teachers and students. Give your thoughts about the differences?

to CCF. Nice lam, there is damage around the rim, but that has nothing to do with the lam. You can tell the difference between a lam and damage, by the devices [the head] is still there where the lam is missing. If it was damage, the devices would have been gouged or ground off. The piece thats missing fell of after the strike. If it fell off before the strike,[Coop correct me if I'm wrong] the devices would have been a little sharper.

Thanx for all the expert advice and education. Much appreciated. I think I may post it on ebay. Any other things I should know if questioned that point to the fact it is indeed a lam vs external damage?
