I read the interview. Kind of sucks that's it's on enrollment. I like the craziness of buying them when it's available and limited release.

If the Morgan and Peace dollar centennial commemoratives morph into an anual series and perhaps even become bullion versions, do you think this would undermine the sale of ASEs?

NumisEd, First and Foremost, the Mint is in business to make $$$$$$$, That said, I now believe After reading posts about the MORGANS and PEACE Proof Dollars. They're, With Possibly More releases ? To continue after the 2022 releases. If they could, and they sure Do, make money charging the Almost $100.00 for a 1 ounce coin, They will find the loop-hole to mint Others.... Do I believe IF the design were to go BULLION, would if Affect the ASE Market, IT Could be another Homerun for the BULLION collectors.!!!!! IMO... ASE's have a Very Deep and Devoted Collector's base and they, the Base and the Collectors EAT up what the Mint releases. So, in answer to the Would they Undermine the sales of the ASE's, I'd say anything is Possible

Enrollment would be great, less stress, headaches, and time off from work.

Enrollments ? That would Certainly dictate the mintages, Mint to order, I Like That . Will NOT help the rarity of the coins.!!!!! Seriously, Are there Enrollments.? I checked last night, Not in Enrollment.

Perhaps the Mint should have an open-ended enrollment and sales period... You want to order 100 2022 Morgan dollars? No problem. You want to order 10,000,000 2022 Peace dollars? No problem. The new US Mint motto will be: "We Strike at Your Command".

I'll just buy a Peace dollar in 2022. Would be nice to finally see the design in proof. I'll pass on the Morgan.

I hope next years Morgan and Peace proof have a mintage of 100k or less with a HHL of 1. I think I can manage to get one of each if that's the case.

This feels like the palladium coins they recently released. They released one in proof, reverse proof, and uncirculated finish in consecutive years. I would not be surprised if 2023 sees reverse proof Morgan and Peace dollars.
