Willburton Pillar of the Community United States 2558 Posts	Posted 10/24/2021 10:41 am I've been looking for one of these for a while. Never even seen one in circulated condition on the bay. I'm pretty sure one of you guys here have an example but there's not many of these around. This was a cherry-pick but I paid a lot for it. Not near what it's worth but still. I think I see what could be die scratches that follow each tail feather from the base of the tail to up and on top of the arrow bundle (which is in front of the tail. And the far left claw looks detached from the foot. I have never heard or a re-engraved tail feather quarter before, I guess I'm up for some research on this one.. Collecting since 1972. But coop I've been looking at this "VLDS" coin on PCGS and it is not the re-engraved tail feathers. The mint mark isn't in the same position as the real deal. That coin is improperly attributed and that makes the population one less IMO. Report this Post to the Staff

Definitely not the case. In fact I think it was going to take solo top pop with a 65. I'm going to crack it out of its case today and resubmit it without declaring the variety.
