On the reverse devices on the outer ring of the design, these devices are incuse, not raised. So the opposite happens on incuse devices. Machine Doubling enlarges incuse devices and a doubled die will will show reduced size on these devices. But there are no DDR's on these outside incuse devices. The DDR on this design is confined more to the center of the devices. To prove that incuse devices on an area where a doubled die can happen on incuse devices. Note this on a cent 2013 cent:

So the opposite happens between raised and incuse (below the fields) devices.
