This was in one of the error lots I bought a while back and finally getting to it. Kind of a minor saddle strike, which has been poorly handled and fingerprinted. No date Lincoln zinc cent mint error - saddle struck with larger strike uniface

Where on earth do you find/get all these great coins/cents?

Thanks! And while I love Mickey Mouse and have a number of classic Mickey's in my office, I just don't think the ears are big enough. I'd say this one is more like one of the Pokemon. And where do I get them? Everywhere they are. I search bags of cents, rolls of cents, albums, whatever cents come in when someone goes to sell them. I cherrypick on ebay. I trade with friends. And for this one, I just bought an auction lot of some error coins on ebay that was there for anyone who searched error Lincoln Cent. Today I had an hour to search between house projects, and carded a 1930-D RPM-004 circulated, a 1959 RPM-001 XF cruddy, along with a 1911-S/S RPM-001 in maybe VF that I cherrypicked and came in yesterday. None of those needed posted so they just get filed. An hour ago I picked a 1909 VDB DDO-001 in AU/UNC grade for $56 which will be here next week. Arrived today was a 1939 DDR-002 in MS that I picked a few days ago and probably will post that one. I also hit coin dealers, especially when I am traveling, and coin shows anywhere and anytime. It's just a lot of stuff coming in all the time. But having been away for about 5 months I'm buried in material I've bought that needs searched and trying to focus on that when I have time. There's at least 40K wheat cents on my floor right now. So the answer is, from everywhere, and I just am very fast at sorting through large amounts of material and auction listings and all that to find the stuff I'm after.

Very cool find! It may just be Pareidolia but look around 1:30 on your second pic. It looks like small digits or letters, kind of small and nothing that would come from a Lincoln Cent transfer. It may just be where it's late.

Quote: I'd say this one is more like one of the Pokemon. Squirtle? . Seriously though—that's a nice find despite the distressed surfaces.

Looks like a saddle strike. (The one planchet between a double set of dies) The dies must be very close together.
