Can you please help me understand why the letters,date,mint mark appears as they do. IN GOD WE TRUST, the top left tip of 7 the eye all on obverse side. The reverse side has same appears. The light reflects off the Machine Doubling make it lighter. A doubled die has the spread on the devices in the centers of the devices. You coin is showing the typical MD on the outside edges of the devices. Looking at the outside edges of devices will find you the common Machine Doubling. There are no DDO's on Variety Vista listed for the obverse dies. http://www.varietyvista.com/13%20Ei...Listings.htm Reverses: http://www.varietyvista.com/13%20Ei...Listings.htm None on the reverses either.
