This is a 1970 S. I can't tell if it is a small date. Anyone? I resisted the temptation to clean it up.

Based on how the 7 seems to sit a tad lower than the 0, I'll say large date

The seven looks like it's a bit slanted. That confused me a bit. Here's a closeup.

Given the small images, I'm thinking large date. To me, the giveaway is the 'direction' the upper loop of the 9 points. Suggest doing a Google search on '1970 s cent date' Compare the images.
