As I continue to play catch-up on some the NEWPs since my recent demise, here is a dandy Two Cent Piece with a twist, a Repunched Date, which was previously unattributed. The 1 and 8 of the date have been repunched to the South.

Thank you for your interest and comments!

Kevin Flynn's guide Getting Your Two Cents Worth has all sort of varieties listed for the 1864 Large Date.
Yours appears to be a KF-L8-RPD.
But I'd need MUCH larger images of the whole coin to be sure.

He labels that variety as Rare.

Real nice! While I'm not into varieties, this is a GREAT coin! Congratulations!

The image will auto-size to your screen resolution. If it is high enough (e.g. 1920 x 1080) then there is nothing to zoom, the image is already max size, which is 727px x 727px. If the OP has bigger photos, they were not uploaded.

Nice deuce oih82w8. I come up with a FL-7H as the variety, as I like to use Frank Leone numbers for the ID since he started it back in the early 1990's before Flynn came onto the scene.

A popular RPD too! Not one I'd call very rare (I think I have around 10 or so) but still a desirable one to collect and yours is super nice looking with a ton of eye appeal. I know it's not the grading forum, but if pressed I'd put this one around a MS64+ RB Love that reverse.

There are also a couple of overlooked cool things on the coin, a neat die scratch going north to the rim above the first "T" in TRUST, on the reverse there is a die dent between the S and OF from rim to wreath and some die clash marks protruding from the wreath left of the "2" and inside the horizontal lines on the shield of the obverse. I can see them plainly on this example, sometimes they are quite difficult to see.
