Nice weakness in the devices, very cool coin.

Yes, what is the weight? this could be an erosion problem from contact with the dirt.

Lol dirt and erosion that would be clear as day anyways it weighs 4.66 grams and the edge shot the it'll Vary ofc the copper is seen then it's not seen then it comes back like a wave.
Beautiful error I've also got one after strike where the clad layer fell off

The clincher on this one for me is the color and the weakness of the strike on both sides of the coin. Even the strike will be weakened with on clad layer missing. I see that on your coin more on the reverse side.

Gotta ask, why should OP send off a very clearly authentic coin to be authenticated? This was 100% legit from the original post no weight needed. They hardly come more text book looking.

Well for me anyways, the pic of the reverse doesn't look coppery enough to me if that is the side with the missing layer. The weakness of strike could be caused by more than one issue, but I am not a pro.

In hand it looks good pics can never do a coin justice again right lighting needed and even at that sometimes you can't get a decent pic to show off good color on a coin
