where did you find this one? It looks like it spent some time in the dirt. The die also looks like it was over used and worn out.

That E I see under the ear we'd need better pics and also when we click on them the pics are very very small so when u zoom in it's blurry see if that can be fixed. Does the E look to be incuse to you. Could be a dropped letter we are dealing with that's when grease clogs up the coin somewhere in this instance could be an E from EPU and it dislodged and landed on the Planchet when struck p

With all the wooly design hair, a bag mark could be turned into an 'E' very easily on this design.

True it is in the exact same spot as the normal coin design and the normal coin design also looks like and E too could be from that too.
