I'm not seeing any doubling here, maybe just a reflection from your lighting setup giving the appearance of it

Also check error-ref.com and search "Doubling" for other types of non-error doubling.

I don't see the doubling either. Maybe a tiny bit of DD, but looks more like lighting.

If you don't find it on VV, check the other sites as well. After you check all three sites, most of the time ( but not always) you couldn't find it for a reason, either you overlooked something or it isn't a doubled die coin. You *could* discover a new variety but most likely it isn't a doubled die if it isn't listed. Your cent here has Machine Doubling. You can search the term to learn how to spot them for yourself.

The reason you see something and we can't is that you are looking at flat devices, from Machine Doubling. You see on the coin, all see is glare: Note the blue image is what your are seeing, the brown image is showing the glare that is hiding what you are seeing on your coin. When the devices are flattened by MD, they reflect light, causing the glare.

Thank you Merc, John1, and Coop..everyone else too of course..so Coop, since the MD produces a flat glaring surface, then would DD tend to present with softer rounded devices, dispelling rather than reflecting?
