Prestigeww, The experienced and helpful collectors in this forum have given you their honest opinions, which is exactly what you asked for. Take your coin to a local coin shop and ask for an appraisal. If you do, I guarantee you will hear the same things that the knowledgeable collectors in this forum have been telling you; that it has abrasions on the obverse, and that it has been cleaned. Ask for an offer to buy from the dealer, and I guarantee you they will offer you less than $15 for it . . . if you get an offer at all.

I wouldn't say there's not a mark on this coin because I see a few of them . There's something not quite right about this coin ,cleaned , polished, whizzed . Hard to pin point but it's probably a details coin and no where's near the grade you think it is .

Below is a photo of the single finest PCGS 1942 Waking Liberty graded at MS68+ that sold for $78,000 this year. The Price on this coin was driven by being the single finest 1942 and some nice rainbow toning. The next grade lower for a 1942 MS67 Walker retails at $600. Note the large drop in price. Unfortunately your coin is not close to being at the same grade with eye appeal as the single finest 1942 Walker.

Prestigeww, Your coin is not mint state, look here https://www.PCGS.com/photograde/It does look cleaned or polished to me. If you do not believe us, feel free to send it to PCGS and please let us know the outcome with a full slab photo front and back, we you get it back from PCGS. John1

Sorry, your first obverse pic was a killer. New pics will not alter the evident cleaning lines, especially those with unfathomable glare like these.

Looks like this one on the top could give that number one a run for it's money.

After the last picture I'm a believer !! That's at least $75k! I recommend you don't even worry about grading it and use the coin to buy yourself the car you always wanted! I'm pretty certain the dealers will give you a fully loaded BMW, Audi or MB as they'll see the value in your coin!
Good luck and please post picture when you get your new car!
PS: I think coinfrog is jealous of your coin!

Captain Rich I really hope you aren't trying to buy it out from under me? I wanted to get it for $15 but you ruined my plans!

Prestigeww, It might make you feel a bit better to know that the first coin which I submitted here was also labeled as "junk" by someone. It was submitted to PCGS and came back as AU "details" but it still sold for $2,200.

That's certainly helpful. Was it a 1942 half dollar?
